Why was Netfest moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2018?

The decision to host Netfest in 2018 at the Sunshine Coast was done with extensive consideration and consultation with various governing bodies, from participant feedback and research into key netball growth areas. The location also offers a new experience for Netfest-goers, and we think you’re just going to love it!

What accommodation options are there available in the Sunshine Coast?

We have worked with various accommodation providers to give participants plenty of choice on where to stay that is in relative close proximity to outside and beach competition locations.

If I don’t have a team, can I still register?

Yes! You can jump in as a single entrant for any teams that require fill ins – as team members may have had to pull out.

I registered as a part of a team, but now I can’t come. Can I get a refund?

Refunds are available up until registration closing date (17th of August). After this time, refunds are unavailable.

When do early bird registrations close?

Early bird registrations close Friday 8 June at 5pm. You can still register after this date however at regular price points.

When do general registrations close?

Registrations close Friday 17 August, 2018. After this date, no further registrations can be accepted as we need to finalise the draw so this is ready in time for competition start.

What is the app used for?

The Netfest app is a great tool to see your team’s draw and useful infomation to make the event more enjoyable. The app is available for download for both iOS and Android.

Do I have to supply an umpire?

All umpires are supplied by Netball Australia as a part of team registration fees. However, if your team has a qualified umpire that would like to earn some money whilst competing get in touch with us to arrange.
