NETFEST 2021 CANCELLED
Netball Australia has cancelled this year’s NetFest event on the Sunshine Coast due to the ongoing uncertainty of the coronavirus pandemic. Netball Australia identified the risks were too high to proceed with the event – the world’s largest netball festival.
NetFest has been held on the Sunshine Coast for the past three years and in 2020 celebrated its 10-year anniversary.
Netball Australia would like to thank Sunshine Coast Council and Tourism & Events Queensland for their support in delivering the previous editions of NetFest. Netball Australia will continue conversations with both organisations about the future of the event and provide an update on NetFest later in 2021.
